The DNS panel in the MV platform* is an addition that allows you to make changes to your DNS records yourself, instead of us making changes for you in Cloudflare. You are more than welcome to ask us to make DNS updates for you, as that is including in your yearly hosting fee.
*The DNS panel in MV may or may not be available on your install depending on its age – newer installs are more likely to have this panel. That will not persist after transitioning to the new platform; all clients will have administrator access to a DNS panel after transitioning.
The DNS panel only appears if your user type has been given DNS access by LF! staff. You can ascertain whether you have this access or not by logging in to the MV platform and scrolling down to System and clicking Site Settings.
In Site Settings, there is a set of tabs: Account, Social & APIs, and Customizations. If you have access to a DNS panel, the tabs will read Account, Social & APIs, DNS, and Customizations.
If you do not see the DNS tab, EITHER 1) your install could not be updated to contain this access, OR 2) your user account was not given DNS access. Please email us at membershipvision@learningforte.com if you would like to determine which is the case.
