If you're looking for data from Google Analytics, such as how many site visitors you've had in a calendar year, or how many users viewed a certain page during a certain time period, that is well within Google's capabilities. However, you should know that the language used in this context is likely language you're not familiar with.
For example: you may be looking for numbers on page views or clicks. These are called 'events', and an 'event' includes many actions that web users perform. To simplify, an 'event' is an action, whether passive or active.
You may be looking for numbers on newsletter subscriptions, or other purchases. These are called 'conversions'.
We encourage you to browse through Google's robust, user-friendly help center all about Analytics. You can find that here: https://support.google.com/analytics?sjid=5158286715980024013-NC#topic=14090456
For a simple walkthrough on the most basic view – all website events over a certain time period – see our walkthrough below.
