The Recordings section of the MV Pro platform, which includes both the Recordings & Recording Series tabs, is one of the more interconnected areas of the platform. The Recordings area is one that includes the most required information (unlike on pages, where you aren't required to add content to a page to complete its creation). Finally, the Recordings sections have an order of operations to function properly.

This is where many choose to upload weekly sermon recordings, and highlight them in a couple of different areas: on the front page, on the automatically created recordings page, or on a page you've created via a content block. You may be more comfortable thinking of this section as the podcasting area, if you use the Recordings feature to manage your podcast(s).

A recording in the MV Pro platform is just that – a single audio file or recording. Files are uploaded individually to the platform to be included as part of a series. Recordings might include:

• weekly sermons which may have no pre-determined end date,
• a project with a finite amount of recordings,
• songs/music/albums/collections,

and more! What's important to know is that what you choose to upload using the Recordings features is up to you, but they must follow the order of operations defined by the MV Pro platform.
