Content

Events - are anything that has a time and date and is a public-facing event. Regardless of how date-specific content is displayed - on a calendar grid of Events, on a list of Events, or on a Feature Event display - ALL date-specific content is entered in the same way in what we call an Event. Displays are just different presentations of the same Event data! 

Examples include: 

• Single occurrence events, like a parish dinner or annual meeting
• Recurring events in which the recurrence has some pattern (3rd Thursday of the month)
• Deadlines
• Special activities as well as regularly scheduled worship, gatherings, meetings, or rehearsals
• Seasonal events such as a holiday concert
• Multi-day events: retreats, pilgrimages, VBS, or outreach or fundraising campaigns.
