Membership Vision manages your site hosting in Cloudflare. And as we always say, your hosting is not the same as your registration. You can read more about that here.
If you or someone at your organization wants access to the DNS records, you or they must be certain that:
- you/they know what records to look for
- you/they know what to do with the records
- you/they know what will happen if those records are changed
- you/they understand that if you/they make record changes, and the website is affected, that is your/their responsibility. Membership Vision will hold full responsibility for changes that we make, but we are not responsible if you or someone at your organization requests access, is given access, and then takes detrimental action.
Additionally, we need confident confirmation that you or your organization has authorized a third party to manage DNS records on you or your organization's behalf. If you contract a tech support company, or have "a guy who does your online stuff", their request to get at your DNS records must be agreed upon and confidently supported by you.
Now that that's out of the way, how do you get access? If you or someone at your organization wants access to the DNS panel on the back end, they must contact us (membershipvision@learningforte.com) with the request. We can then configure the user to get DNS access, which opens up an area of the platform that shows each record, just like it would show up in Cloudflare. Updates can then be made. Yay!
